Amy Szana RDH
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
Amy is passionate about dental and airway health.
She graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Dental Hygiene and was awarded the Nancy J. Goorey Alumni Award for her research exploring the link between oral and overall health.
Amy has been working in the dental field for over 25 years, but it wasn’t until her own experience with an undiagnosed tongue tie that she learned about myofunctional therapy and its benefits to overall health and wellness. This is when she decided to continue her education and become an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.
Amy strives to understand the root cause of her patients’ symptoms and formulates a customized plan of action to help restore normal function. She often collaborates with other myofunctional therapists, dentists, orthodontists, surgeons, physical therapists, and other bodyworkers to ensure her patients have a team of specialized support.
Amy currently sees children and adults either at her office in Worthington or virtually via telehealth.
